Job summary

Manitou Group is seeking a shift supervisor for its Belvidere, IL site to direct the daily Shipping Operations on the 2nd shift (10am–7pm). You will lead a team, schedule labor, and oversee order fulfillment, inventory, and safety compliance.

In this role you will coach staff, monitor KPIs, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure Lean practices drive continuous improvement and on-time delivery within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field as required; experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years shipping/warehouse operations experience with lean management.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite andERP systems; familiarity with barcode scanning systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily Shipping Operations and labor scheduling.
• Monitor and coach team performance; track KPIs.
• Oversee order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Ensure 5S and lean practices are applied; participate in continuous improvement.
