Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College in Mansfield is seeking a Technician: 2nd Line Technical Support to act as an escalation point for complex IT issues and to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires an IT qualification to level 2 or equivalent with a willingness to progress to level 3, a full clean driving licence, and the ability to travel between our sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum IT qualification to level 2 or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards level 3 qualification.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for more complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by 1st Line Support.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve a broad range of hardware, software and network issues while maintaining customer service.
• Work independently and as part of a wider technical team.
