POSITION:
Vesta IT is seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer who has strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in technology and perform well under pressure in a busy environment. They should be willing to learn new skills, have a logical approach to problem-solving, and pay close attention to detail. The position will primarily be based at the Birmingham Headley office with some work from home.
Job Responsibilities
This role involves working as part of an internal team to service support requests across a variety of products for multiple businesses. Support responsibilities include Desktop, Server, Active Directory, Networking, VOIP, and Cloud Services. You will be required to communicate via email, telephone, and video call to resolve issues within defined timeframes. Furthermore, you will collaborate with senior team members and participate in team projects, including on-site visits when necessary.
