Technical Solutions Engineer

The COMPANY

With over 20 years of experience, our client is a pioneer in AI-powered digital pathology software and services. They are acknowledged as global leaders in supplying this specialist software to the life sciences sector, enabling analysis and interpretation of slide images.

The ROLE

Due to an internal promotion, they now require a Technical Solutions Engineer to join their team. Working from home, the engineer will be responsible for configuring and installing the client's software for customers. Responsibilities include:

• Handling software-related requests
• Analyzing software issues and proposing solutions
• Troubleshooting software
• Identifying root causes of software problems
• Conducting software testing and installation
• Troubleshooting IT-related issues
• Managing software and database migrations
• Advising customers on hardware and software configurations and implementation
• Developing customer relationships through professional interactions

The PERSON

The ideal candidate will be an intelligent and dynamic individual eager to develop their career within this progressive organization. Requirements include:

• Experience as an IT engineer, Technical Solutions Engineer, Application Support Engineer, etc.
• Scripting knowledge
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft tools and application environments
• Networking knowledge
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
• Ability to showcase solutions to diverse audiences, including engineers, developers, architects, IT managers, and executives
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Salary: £42,000 starting salary

Package includes: Bonus, Pension, Income protection, etc.

Location: Remote work within the UK, with suitable living locations including Cambridge, Peterborough, Nottingham, Northampton, Leicester, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, Ipswich, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Newcastle.
