Job summary

ARM is seeking an experienced 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our Herefordshire-based Operational Support team. The role blends ongoing operational support with project work, offering exposure to a broad range of technologies in a customer-facing environment.

You will contribute to incident resolution, BAU and project activities, participate in an on-call rota, and help create robust documentation while working both remotely and on-site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in 2nd line infrastructure support across multiple technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with on-call support and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Providing 2nd line infrastructure support across a range of technologies.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical incidents through to customer satisfaction.
• Supporting BAU operations and project activities.
• Providing remote and on-site technical support.
• Participating in an out-of-hours on-call support rota.
• Contributing to technical documentation.
• Supporting project deliverables and ensuring milestones, KPIs and SLAs.
• Working autonomously while taking ownership of assigned technical activities.
• Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and wider technical teams.
