Job summary

GSA Techsource Ltd is seeking a 2D Animator for iGaming/slot games with strong Spine experience to join their creative team.

You will create engaging, production‑ready animations for characters, symbols and game features, collaborating closely with artists and developers to bring assets to life in a hybrid North West studio.

The role supports junior to senior levels and offers a competitive salary up to £40k with hybrid working in the North West.

Qualifications

• 2D animation experience, ideally within iGaming/mobile gaming.
• Hands-on Spine experience.
• Knowledge of 2D animation principles, rigging and workflows.
• Experience with game assets and animation pipelines.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging 2D animations for slot games and game features
• Use Spine to rig, animate and develop character and game animations
• Work closely with artists and developers to ensure animations are technically suitable for implementation
• Animate characters, symbols, UI elements and other in-game assets
• Help bring concepts and static artwork to life through expressive, polished animation

2D Animator - iGaming/Slot Games

Are you a 2D Animator with experience using Spine and looking for your next opportunity in the iGaming space?

We're working with an established igaming studio looking for a talented 2D Animator to join their creative team. They're open to candidates across Junior, Midweight and Senior levels, but the key requirement is strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Spine.

You’ll be creating engaging, high‑quality animations for slot games, working closely with artists, designers and developers to bring characters, symbols and game features to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging 2D animations for slot games and game features
• Use Spine to rig, animate and develop character and game animations
• Work closely with artists and developers to ensure animations are technically suitable for implementation
• Animate characters, symbols, UI elements and other in‑game assets
• Help bring concepts and static artwork to life through expressive, polished animation
• Ensure animations are optimised and production‑ready
• Collaborate with the wider creative team to maintain a consistent visual and animation style

What We’re Looking For

• Professional experience in 2D animation, ideally within iGaming, mobile or gaming
• Hands‑on experience and strong knowledge of Spine is essential
• Understanding of 2D animation principles, rigging and animation workflows
• Experience working with game assets and animation pipelines
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial
• A creative, collaborative approach with a strong eye for detail
• Candidates considered from Junior through to Senior level
