NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Trauma & Orthopaedic ward in Dumfries on a fixed-term basis until 28 February 2027. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering patient-centred care for acute trauma and post-operative patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Trauma & Orthopaedic ward on a fixed-term basis until 28/02/27, covering time limited leave.
Ward C6 is a busy and dynamic acute admissions ward specialising in the care of trauma and orthopaedic patients. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with a range of acute conditions and post-operative needs.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Previous experience in an acute or surgical setting is desirable but not essential, as full support and induction will be provided.
