Job summary

Nestlé S.A. in York is recruiting a Transport Service Specialist to join our Delivery Operations Team. This permanent full-time role supports a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts and an average of 42 hours per week, with 8 weeks holiday per year.

You will collaborate with hauliers, distribution centres, factories, customers and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, manage networks, and contribute to our sustainability goals within a fast-paced transport environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Organised and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Hauliers, Distribution Centres, Factories, Customers, Suppliers, and Co-manufacturers to ensure timely deliveries and availability of trailers.
• Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about issues impacting the network.
• Formulate and implement plans to reduce delays and improve transport operations.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service and support Nestlé's sustainability goals through efficient logistics.
