Job summary

Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages in Buxton, Derbyshire, is hiring entry-level Logistics Operators to support our busy supply chain.

No prior experience is required; you will learn to handle goods, follow safety rules, and work across inbound/outbound processes in an automated warehouse.

The role offers a permanent contract, full-time hours, and benefits, with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern and a starting salary of about £34,231 per year.

We are looking for Logistics Operators to join our dedicated logistics department at our Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages site in Buxton, Derbyshire.

Your Impact

As a Logistics Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods within our logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to support the flow of materials and products through various processes, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. You will be expected to uphold safety and quality standards while demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Ensure high safety standards are adhered to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operational Efficiency: Follow inbound and outbound schedules by retrieving, marshalling, and loading pallets according to defined procedures.
• Material Handling: Load or unload trailers by operating suitable material handling equipment through loading docks or bays.
• Support for Production: Assist with factory activities to achieve key performance indicators, such as delivering packaging materials to the production line in a timely manner.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high quality and good manufacturing practices are met by effectively carrying out the daily cleaning plan as per defined procedures.

• Qualifications & Training: Ability to operate all required material handling equipment, including Forklift Trucks (e.g., Reach Truck, Counterbalance, T20). If no license is held, in-house training will be provided. A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain, or a similar subject is desirable but not essential.
