Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is seeking an Emergency Logistics & Planning Coordinator to manage day-to-day activities of the Emergency Logistics team, ensuring compliance with SEMD and Water Quality regulations. The role involves coordinating site security, tanker planning, and 24/7 standby coverage to respond to incidents.

You will interact with regulatory bodies, maintain data accuracy, and contribute to cross-team planning within the Emergency Planning & Security function.

Formación

• Formal qualification (HNC or above) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience coordinating site and depot-based activities.
• Experience with governance processes to ensure compliance.
• Experience with SEMD and Water Quality regulations is desirable.
• Experience in compiling data for regulatory reporting.
• Incident management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Organise and monitor daily activities of Emergency Logistics technicians and vehicle checks.
• Ensure activities comply with IMS processes in an environmentally sustainable manner.
• Maintain vehicle and driver compliance with Operator Licences and inspections.
• Monitor tanker movements and ensure cost accuracy for depot operations.
• Respond to Water Quality failures and manage associated risk and VOR decisions.
• Provide Health and Safety oversight for teams and subcontractors.
• Support stockpile management and SEMD kit procurement.
• Assist with incident response and stakeholder reporting (TCG representation).
• Assist with DWI response documentation and milestones.
• Audit processes to identify weaknesses and act as escalation point.
