Job summary

St Mary and St Joseph VC Academy is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team in the 2-year-old provision. You will provide high-quality care and early education tailored to toddlers, supporting their independence and social development in a safe and stimulating environment.

The role is 36 hours per week, term-time only plus 2 additional days, with working hours from 8:15am to 4:00pm and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

• Qualified early years educator with EYFS knowledge.
• Experience with 2-year-olds preferred.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate play and learning activities.
• Observe and track developmental milestones, including 2-year checks.
• Support personal care routines and healthy mealtime practices.
• Maintain health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
