Our Lady & St Paul’s RC Primary School is seeking an Early Years Specialist Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join the team. The role involves supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, under the guidance of the class teacher, during term-time plus two days.

The post focuses on helping children develop communication, literacy and numeracy skills, while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment and contributing to the school’s Catholic ethos

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Help to create a safe, nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Support the class teacher with preparation and organisation of the learning environment, observations and assessment of children’s progress.
