Job summary

Millbrook Primary School & Nursery in the United Kingdom is seeking an Early Years Educator to join our Outstanding nursery team. You will act as a key worker for a small group of 2-year-olds and rising 3-year-olds, delivering engaging learning experiences through play and interaction.

The role requires enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. A Level 3 childcare qualification and safeguarding commitment are preferred.

Qualifications

• A Level 3+ qualification in early years is desirable.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key worker for a small group of 2-year-olds and rising 3-year-olds.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences through play and interaction.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress in EYFS.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues to support children's development and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, intimate care, and transitions.
• Contribute to planning meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
