Job summary

VIQU Limited in Crawley is seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer on a 12-month contract to deliver BAU IT support for internal staff, primarily in a Microsoft environment.

The role focuses on hardware and software breakfix, ticket triage, and excellent customer service, with onsite work five days a week. You will work directly with internal teams and occasionally liaise with external clients to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Solid IT support experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience triaging and escalating tickets, including hardware issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and escalate IT support tickets for end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Provide on-site support to internal staff in Crawley and liaise with external clients where needed.
• Maintain clear communication and high service levels.

1st Line Support Engineer:

1st Line Support - 12 - Month Contract - Crawley

VIQU have been approached by a customer who are seeking a 1st Line Support contractor to provide some additional BAU support for their internal staff.

The successful 1st Line Support will have solid previous experience in IT Support within a Microsoft environment and will be committed to delivering excellent customer service.

The role:

This role will involve managing and escalating support tickets mainly focused on Hardware issues, as well as handling Software and breakfix issues. This role involves working with external clients also so communication skills and a focus on customer service is paramount.

Key skills & responsibilities for the First Line Support:

• 1st Line / Service Desk / Customer Support - in a Windows / Microsoft environment:

• Experience supporting with face-to-face IT support
