Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a First Line IT Support to act as the first point of contact for IT requests across the business.

You will troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365 and end-user devices, configure and deploy laptops and desktops, and support onboarding and documentation. This role offers hands-on exposure to Azure, Active Directory, Intune and network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on clear communication and timely incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows, Microsoft 365 and end-user devices.
• Experience with Active Directory and user lifecycle management.
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPNs and IP connectivity.
• Strong communication and customer-service focus.
• Able to diagnose and resolve technical incidents.
• Desirable: Entra ID/Intune and VoIP.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests across the business
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues
• Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment
• Support user account administration and onboarding processes
• Assist with IT projects, technology upgrades and office rollouts
• Gain hands-on exposure to technologies including Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining accurate IT documentation

Requirements

• Familiar with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and end-user computing
• Experience supporting workplace technologies including desktop devices, laptops and printing solutions
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration and user lifecycle management
• Understanding of networking technologies such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs and IP connectivity
• Strong communication skills with a user-first approach to support
• Proven ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve technical incidents
• Able to manage priorities effectively within a fast-paced support environment
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune and VoiP would be desirable
• Full driving licence
