Job summary

Helios Global Group in Alderley Edge is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer (1st Line) to join our growing IT team. Based at our Head Office, you’ll help ensure our technology and services run smoothly for colleagues across the business.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Endpoint Manager, SharePoint, Teams and cloud services, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, helpdesk or IT-focused roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Good knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Logical and analytical troubleshooting abilities.
• Interest in AI tools, automation and cloud services.
• Full driving licence and ability to work from Alderley Edge.
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to employees across the business.
• Log, prioritise and manage requests via the IT Service Desk.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure AD user accounts.
• Configure and deploy laptops and equipment for new starters.
• Support device decommissioning and secure data wiping.
• Maintain IT asset records and inventories.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Intune, Endpoint Manager, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Teams).
• Promote security best practices and awareness.
• Continually develop technical knowledge and contribute improvements.
