Job summary

Booker is seeking an experienced delivery driver to join our team in the UK. You will drive locally, build relationships with regular customers, and help ensure timely deliveries while providing great service.

Working 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 contract, you will also load and unload goods, assist with paperwork, and contribute to keeping shelves stocked. Overtime opportunities are available and CPC training is fully funded.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T Licence required.
• Previous driving experience (at least two years).
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep customers' shelves stocked with products.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch.
• Unload stock at the customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for
Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. Youll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. Youll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• Cat C / 18T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
