Job summary

Booker is hiring a delivery driver to join our team in the UK. You will manage local deliveries, load and unload stock, and maintain strong relationships with regular customers across branches.

The role runs 45 hours per week with early start times and a shift pattern of Any 5 from 7, including weekends. You will be expected to provide reliable, friendly service and keep accurate delivery paperwork.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T Licence required.
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years) preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver locally to customers and load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain timely deliveries and good customer service.

About the role

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. Youll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. Youll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• Cat C / 18T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
