Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in a full-time kitchen role. The program runs for 15 months, during which you train under passionate chefs while gaining a nationally recognised qualification. You will help run the kitchen, ensuring quality remains high for guests.

You’ll be supported by a mentor, receive work-based training, and complete modules to develop your cooking and practical skills day by day.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
• Apprenticeship includes Functional Skills in English and Maths.
• Mentor support within the workplace during the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food safely and efficiently to brand standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and back-of-house areas.
