Job Description:

GSL Education is currently recruiting Autism Specialist Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools. You will work with students identified as having moderate learning difficulties and autism on a 1:1 and small group basis. Your role involves providing individualized interventions and supporting classroom activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in evaluations, recording, and reporting on children's development and progress.
• Attending relevant school meetings as requested.
• Implementing behavioral intervention programs for students with special needs, developmental delays, or autism.
• Collaborating with experts to support the child's development.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion for assisting young people with special needs.
• Possession of a UK work visa.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding.
• Expertise in SEN, with additional needs such as SEMH and severe learning challenges preferred.
• Confidence and charm in behavior management.
