Job summary

NEXT is offering a 12‑month industrial placement for students pursuing a STEM degree with a dedicated placement year from July 2027 to July 2028. You will shadow experienced developers, contribute to full life‑cycle software projects, and work with C#, .NET, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS.

You will collaborate in a supportive team environment, participate in stand‑ups and code reviews, and explore AI technologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced developers to learn full life‑cycle development.
• Help create and enhance applications using backend and frontend technologies (C#, .NET, Vue.js, HTML, CSS).
• Write readable, maintainable code that meets user requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve bugs in the codebase.
• Implement, test and deploy code changes following the development process.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Explore and adopt new AI tools (CoPilot, Gemini, Notebook LM) to increase efficiency.
