Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting for 111/Integrated Urgent Care Health Advisors. The role starts on a fixed-term training contract of nine weeks, with a pathway to a permanent Band 3 position after successful completion. Salary ranges £25,760–£27,476 pro rata for part-time roles, with enhanced payments for unsocial hours.

Training includes comprehensive paid sessions. There are full and part-time rotas, with benefits and NHS pension.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English (or NHS Pathways training) and/or relevant customer service experience.
• IT literate with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage distressing information on calls.

Responsibilities

• Assess and negotiate to ensure the best patient care and outcome.
• Handle 111 calls, providing care and reassurance to patients.
• Progression pathway: after training, move to higher band with added duties.
