Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition across Shaftesbury and surrounding areas. You will work with children and young people with SEN/SEND to help them build confidence, stay engaged with education, and make academic progress.

You will travel within Shaftesbury and nearby locations to deliver sessions in schools, community venues, or learners' homes, with flexible part-time and full-time opportunities and support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND.
  • Previous tutoring, education, mentoring, youth work, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions.
  • Travel to tuition locations in the local area.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Encourage confidence and independent learning.
  • Monitor and document learner progress.

TP Tutors is looking to recruit enthusiastic SEN Tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition across Shaftesbury and surrounding areas.

You'll work with children and young people who have autism, ADHD, SEMH, and a variety of additional learning needs. Through individualised tuition, you'll help learners develop confidence, remain engaged with education, and achieve academic progress.

Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
