Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a 1:1 Tutor (part time and/or full time) to support Maths and English learners in Chesterfield. Sessions are flexible and can take place at home, in libraries or at local schools, with pay of £30 per hour depending on experience.

You will plan and deliver tailored lessons, work with learners with EHCPs, and may require Enhanced DBS clearance. Start dates are flexible and opportunities available across temporary placements.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification/experience (classroom or 1:1)
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following national curriculum
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs
• Enhanced DBS (willing to apply)
• Passionate about working with young people

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tutoring for Maths and English to students in Chesterfield.
• Plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet individual barriers to learning.
• Match your strengths to a student to ensure consistent progress.
• Sessions may take place at students' homes, libraries or schools, in-person or online.
