Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd in Manchester is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised tuition to primary and secondary-aged learners across Manchester.

The role is part-time with weekdays during school hours, offering pay of £25–£30 per hour+ and weekly PAYE pay. You will join a supportive team and have ongoing opportunities for long-term tuition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience with both primary and secondary learners.
• SEN experience is desirable.
• Strong knowledge in one or more core subjects.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across Manchester.

The Role

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions.

• Plan lessons according to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.

• Support learners in core subjects such as English, Maths and Science.

• Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, including pupils with SEN.

• Build confidence, motivation and independent learning skills.

• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience.

• Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.

• SEN experience.

• Strong subject knowledge in one or more core subjects.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

• Right to work in the UK.
