Job summary

Beer CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil and assist with daily classroom activities. The role is fixed-term and part of our team delivering high-quality learning.

You will work under the guidance of the Head Teacher and teaching staff to create a nurturing environment that aligns with our school values. Starting ASAP, 28.75 hours per week during term time (38 weeks per year), with a salary around £17,019 per annum FTE.

Qualifications

• 1:1 Teaching Assistant experience desirable.
• Calm, patient approach with children.
• Good communication with staff, pupils and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a child as part of daily learning.
• Assist in delivering lessons and activities during scheduled hours.
• Support safeguarding and participate in DBS checks as required.
• Collaborate with classroom staff to support pupil progress.
