Job summary

Putteridge Primary School is seeking a dynamic and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support SEND children in Key Stage 1. The post is fixed term until August 2028, with hours 8.45 to 3.30, Monday to Friday and a daily 35-minute lunch duty.

You will work with KS1 pupils, focusing on Maths and English, contribute to a stimulating curriculum, and be part of a friendly, supportive staff team dedicated to developing the school further.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant school-based experience within Key Stage 1.
• Working knowledge of the KS1 Maths and English curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND children across Key Stage 1, including 1:1 work.
• Assist with Maths and English delivery in KS1 lessons.
• Contribute to raising attainment and progression of all pupils.
• Be a committed team player who collaborates with colleagues.
• Attend to a lunch duty of 35 minutes each day.
