Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Liverpool to support a secondary school student on a short-term basis with an immediate start.

The role focuses on providing individual learning support alongside teaching staff to enhance engagement and academic progress. The successful candidate will have prior experience in 1:1 or classroom learning support, with desirable qualifications at Level 2 or Level 3.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience providing 1:1 support or general classroom learning support.
• Knowledge of KS3/KS4 is desirable.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting young people.

Salary: £95-£150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Liverpool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The school is committed to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their academic abilities, confidence and independence.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a short-term basis, starting immediately. The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will provide individual learning support to a secondary school student, working alongside teaching staff to assist with classroom activities, encourage engagement in lessons and support academic progress.

The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Experience providing 1:1 support or general classroom learning support
• Good knowledge of supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 is desirable
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting young people
