Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a secondary school student in Liverpool. You will work alongside teachers to assist with classroom activities, encourage engagement in lessons and support academic progress.

The role is short-term and starts immediately. The successful candidate will have experience in education, excellent communication, and a patient, adaptable approach to helping students develop independence.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience providing 1:1 support or general classroom learning support.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting young people.
• Knowledge of KS3/KS4 is desirable.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Liverpool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a short-term basis, starting immediately. The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will provide individual learning support to a secondary school student, working alongside teaching staff to assist with classroom activities, encourage engagement in lessons and support academic progress.

The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Experience providing 1:1 support or general classroom learning support
• Good knowledge of supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 is desirable
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting young people
