Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Liverpool. The role involves providing individual learning support to a student and assisting teachers with classroom activities to boost engagement and progress.

The ideal candidate will have a TA qualification (Level 2/3) and experience with KS3/KS4. Immediate start. PAYE rates apply with market-leading pay.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience providing 1:1 support or general classroom learning support.
• Good knowledge of supporting students across KS3 / KS4 is desirable.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting young people.

Salary: £95-£150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Liverpool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The school is committed to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their academic abilities, confidence and independence.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a short-term basis, starting immediately. The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will provide individual learning support to a secondary school student, working alongside teaching staff to assist with classroom activities, encourage engagement in lessons and support academic progress.

The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Experience providing 1:1 support or general classroom learning support
• Good knowledge of supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 is desirable
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting young people
