Aura Education Services is seeking a dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Liverpool (L4). The role supports a pupil with mobility needs, helping them participate fully in lessons and school life.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, until the end of the academic year. Daily rate up to £106.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Understanding of the challenges faced by students with mobility issues.
• Ability to adapt and modify teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of the student.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Mobility Support: Assist the student in moving around the school premises, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Personal Care: Provide support with personal care needs, maintaining a respectful and dignified approach at all times.
• Academic Assistance: Work closely with the classroom teacher to facilitate the student's engagement in academic activities, adapting materials and lessons as necessary.
• Inclusion: Foster an inclusive environment for the student, promoting participation in social and extracurricular activities.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with the student, school staff, and parents to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach.
