Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Liverpool (L4) on a long‑term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide general classroom support in a Year 1 class, assisting with day‑to‑day learning activities and helping to deliver engaging English and maths support sessions. You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team who are passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and Year 1 pupils.
• Support children’s learning through group work, interventions, and focused support.
• Assist with the delivery of reading, writing, and maths activities.
• Encourage inclusion and positive behaviour within the classroom.
• Help with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and assessment activities.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent and relevant experience working in an educational setting.
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent.
• A passion for supporting KS1 pupils and helping them reach their potential.
• Ability to follow direction from the class teacher and work effectively as part of a team.
