A supportive SEND school in Coventry now seeks a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant for a full‑time September start. As you begin this role, you take an active position in the classroom and provide focused support for a pupil with additional needs. You work closely with the class teacher and help create a calm, structured and encouraging learning environment. Moreover, you guide the pupil through daily tasks and help them build confidence, independence and emotional stability. Additionally, you support positive behaviour and ensure the pupil feels safe, understood and ready to learn.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
