Job summary

Dimensions (UK) Ltd. is recruiting a care support worker to assist a gentleman in his own bungalow in Metheringham. You will provide 1:1 support, helping with personal care, meals and activities, while promoting independence and safety in the community. A calm, patient and respectful approach is essential.

Role includes long day shifts (8am-8pm or similar) with occasional sleep-ins, driving a vehicle with a full UK licence, and safeguarding requirements. DBS is enhanced and paid by Dimensions.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training and support provided.
• Must be calm, patient, reliable and able to stay grounded in all situations.
• Ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to the gentleman in his own bungalow.
• Assist with personal care and meal preparation, supporting independence.
• Support community outings and recreational activities.
• Drive his vehicle using a full UK manual licence as needed.
• Respond calmly to upset or frustrated moments.
