Job summary

Dimensions Group is seeking a dedicated care assistant to support a gentleman in his own bungalow. You will provide 1:1 care, assist with daily living tasks, meals and medications, and help him stay connected to family and activities.

The role involves driving a manual vehicle, flexible shifts including weekends and occasional sleep-ins. A positive, proactive attitude and resilience are essential to thrive in this rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Patience, resilience and excellent communication are essential.
• Full UK driving licence with manual transmission preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to ongoing care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a gentleman in his own home (with some 2:1 hours).
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meals and medication.
• Support social activities, outings and participation in hobbies (swimming, clubs, music).
• Drive a manual vehicle when required.
• Work a rolling rota including weekends and some sleep-ins.
