Dimensions in Radstock is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide 1:1 and daily 2:1 support to a gentleman in his 30s with autism and learning disabilities. You’ll help him stay active, enjoy outings, and follow personalised support plans.

No two days are the same, with duties including personal care, meal prep, medications, and coordinating with family to ensure consistent care. DBS paid for by Dimensions and opportunities such as Learn to Drive.

Qualifikationen

• Willingness to learn and commit to consistent support.
• Experience in care or support is helpful but not required.
• Ability to assist with personal care and daily activities.

Aufgaben

• Support personal care and meal preparation.
• Administering medication as required and directed.
• Encourage healthy eating and activity participation.
• Support sensory needs, routines, and Positive Behaviour Support guidance.
• Maintain an active lifestyle and accompany him on activities.
• Coordinate with family and colleagues to provide consistent support.
• Work in partnership with relatives to ensure best outcomes.
