Job summary

Dimensions Ltd in Luton is seeking a dedicated Support Worker on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) to provide 1:1 support to a gentleman in his own home. You’ll assist with daily living, personal care, meals, and staying connected with family, while promoting independence and wellbeing.

A full UK manual driving licence is essential as some activities occur away from home. Shifts cover early, late and middle hours, including weekends and occasional sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Confident driver with ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Comfortable working independently and lone working.
• Patient, proactive and emotionally resilient.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.
• Flexible, weekend availability and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist with medication, meals and home maintenance.
• Support social activities and family visits to stay connected.
• Help plan and accompany outings, including pools or walks.
