Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a friendly and proactive Support Worker in Manchester to provide 1:1 support for a person with autism and a learning disability. The role includes helping with employment, volunteering and daily living tasks, in a vibrant service with a flexible rota and a focus on engagement and activity.

You will receive training toward a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care, with a mix of in-person and e-learning courses.

Qualifications

• Providing 1:1 support for individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, sleep-ins, weekends and public holidays.
• Will complete required training including QCF Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Support with employment, volunteering, community engagement and daily living tasks.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with service users and families.
• Encourage participation in social activities inside and outside the home.
