Job summary

Sense Scotland in Bridge of Earn, Perthshire, is seeking a part-time Support Practitioner to help adults with learning disabilities, autism, Down syndrome and complex epilepsy live independent, fulfilling lives in their own homes.

The role involves providing 1:1 support, helping individuals develop skills, manage daily tasks, finances and attend appointments, with activities in the community and personal care provided with full training. This is a flexible, on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to individuals to develop skills and achieve personal goals.
• Assist with daily living tasks including cooking and household activities.
• Support with managing finances and budgeting and attending health and social appointments.
• Encourage participation in community activities such as swimming, walking, shopping and bowling.
• Provide personal care with full training and help build confidence and independence.
