Turning Point Scotland is seeking a Support Practitioner in North Lanarkshire to help adults with learning disabilities live fuller lives. The role involves 1:1 or small group support, community activities, and promoting independence.

The position offers full and part-time hours, a permanent contract, and comprehensive training. A driving license and access to a car are essential for travel between services and activities.

Qualifications

• No previous working experience is required.
• Full training provided on supporting people with complex needs.
• Driving license and car essential due to service location.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to adults with a wide range of needs 1:1 or in a team.
• Support individuals in the community and engage in hobbies and activities.
• Attend community groups and accompany service users to activities and trips.
• Assist with personal care and wellbeing.
• Celebrate achievements to create a rewarding environment.
