Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Tutor to deliver face-to-face tuition for students out of mainstream settings in Stockton-on-Tees. The role focuses on SEND, SEMH and ASD to build confidence and remove barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or QTLS and have experience with EHCPs and various SEND needs. The role offers excellent daily rates, CPD, pension contributions, and a dedicated consultant for support.

Qualifications

• A professional Teaching Qualification (QTS / QTLS) required.
• Experience working with young people with EHCPs.
• Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other Additional Educational Needs.
• Passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face 1:1 tuition to students out of a mainstream setting.
• Support students with SEND, SEMH and ASD to break learning barriers.

Salary: £25 - £30 per hour

1:1 SEND Tutor: Stockton-on-Tees £30 per hour(salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

The LA are looking for an experienced Teacher to provide face to face tuition to students who are out of a mainstream setting. The desired1:1 SEND Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and ASD.

The 1:1 SEND Tutorrole is long term to provide consistency for students and work towards breaking down barriers to learning and to give the student the confidence to reach their full potential.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A professional Teaching Qualification (QTS / QTLS)
• Experience of working with young people with EHCPs
• Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
• A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
