Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Tutor to provide face-to-face tuition for students outside mainstream settings in Stockton-on-Tees. This long-term role supports learners with SEND, SEMH, ASD, and other needs to help them reach their full potential.

The role requires QTS/QTLS and experience with EHCPs, SEND and related needs. Flexible hours and PAYE-based payments are offered with dedicated consultant support to help your professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required.
• Experience working with learners who have EHCPs.
• Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD or related needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face 1:1 tuition to students outside mainstream settings.
• Support learners with SEND, SEMH and ASD to break learning barriers.
• Build confidence and help students reach their potential.
• Collaborate with schools and LA as required.

Salary: £25 - £30 per hour

1:1 SEND Tutor: Stockton-on-Tees £30 per hour(salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

The LA are looking for an experienced Teacher to provide face to face tuition to students who are out of a mainstream setting. The desired1:1 SEND Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and ASD.

The 1:1 SEND Tutorrole is long term to provide consistency for students and work towards breaking down barriers to learning and to give the student the confidence to reach their full potential.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A professional Teaching Qualification (QTS / QTLS)
• Experience of working with young people with EHCPs
• Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
• A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
