Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Downend. The role offers 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil, helping them stay engaged, confident, and successful in lessons.

We are looking for a caring practitioner who works well in a team, communicates effectively, and brings creative, engaging approaches. This part-time, term-time only fixed-term position includes safeguarding checks and DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children, ideally on a 1:1 basis (desirable).
• Requires appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Safeguarding and DBS checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil.
• Help the pupil stay engaged, confident and successful in learning.
• Collaborate with school staff to support learning.
