Chawson First School is seeking a part-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with SEND. You will assist in-class and small-group work, work closely with the named pupil to maximise progress, and participate in the assess, plan, do, review cycle. Collaboration with staff, parents, and outside agencies is integral to the role.

Safeguarding is a priority; a DBS check will be required. The post is a permanent fixed term until 31 August 2027, with a salary of £9,416–£9,563 per annum

• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Ability to develop positive relationships with children
• Understanding of special educational needs and strategies
• Experience leading or supporting interventions for pupils
• Willingness to work with staff and parents to support progress

• Assisting individual or small groups of pupils inside or outside the classroom
