Job summary

Mad 4 Recruitment Limited is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in Primary schools across the Cheshire area. The role focuses on 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs and involves assisting with planning, assessment and intervention.

You will monitor progress and report findings to teaching staff, drawing on SEND experience. DBS checks and safeguarding processes apply, with a patient, creative and flexible approach encouraged.

Qualifications

• SEND experience essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ desirable.

• Able to deal with challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff and work 1:1 with pupils with additional needs.
• Assist with induction, assessment, intervention and pupil support.
• Monitor progress and report to teachers on pupil development.
• Contribute to planning and evaluation of learning activities for individuals and groups.
