Silks Farm Day Nursery in Huntingdon, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a SEND Assistant. The role focuses on 1:1 support for a child with additional needs, ensuring IEPs and background information are properly managed. Salary up to £12.71 per hour with regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or SEND settings is preferred.
• Ability to follow IEPs and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between parents and staff for children with SEND.
• Provide 1:1 support to a child requiring additional assistance.
• Ensure IEPs are in place where required and information is up to date.
• Maintain up-to-date background information for children with SEND.
• Stay informed on current SEND initiatives and best practices.
