This is a 1:1 SEND role in the L15 area of Liverpool, starting in September. It is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity!

You will support a child with SEN in the classroom, continuing an existing successful learning plan. You will also have breaks to take the child to the sensory room.

SEND Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis, responding to their individual needs
• Support two children alongside another staff member
• Deliver catch-up sessions

SEND Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

• Recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, especially those with SEND
• A passion for education
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
