Milk Education is working with a primary school in L11 that is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work with children in a Year 4 class to support a child with ADHD. This SEND Teaching Assistant role is full-time.

The role of an SEND Teaching Assistant is to work with a child on a one-to-one basis or support them within small or whole class groups, acting as a listener, encourager, motivator, and role model.

Your role & responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive relationships
• Work within a classroom with students who have a variety of complex needs
• Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom resources, including adjusting classroom layout
• Be passionate about achievement for every child and committed to ongoing professional learning
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have experience working with SEN/additional needs or in a similar setting
• Provide two suitable references covering the last 2 years
