Job summary

Academics are recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work across a range of mainstream schools in Sheffield. You will provide personalised support to pupils with ADD, autism, SEMH or other needs, helping them access learning and build confidence in class settings.

The role is temporary with flexible ongoing supply, offering competitive daily rates (£92.56–£100 depending on experience) and an ASAP start. DBS check preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible opportunities within mainstream schools across Sheffield?

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming mainstream schools throughout Sheffield.

This 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is specifically suited to candidates with previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs. Working as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in Sheffield, you will provide dedicated support to individual pupils whilst helping them access learning and develop confidence within a mainstream school environment.

Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £92.56 - £100 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
