Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a caring Learning Partner to join a welcoming primary school in Longwell Green, providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

This role helps a child access learning, build confidence and develop socially and emotionally, with support from the SEND team and teachers.

You'll be patient, compassionate and adaptable, with Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one, and 24 months of references.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN
• Experience in a primary school or educational setting
• Patient and compassionate with children
• Ability to stay calm and adaptable on challenging days
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to help pupil access learning
• Help pupil develop socially and emotionally
• Encourage independence and confidence in classroom
